6th Annual Friendship Dinner at The Vanderbilt

info166061

We held our Sixth Annual Friendship Dinner at The Vanderbilt in South Beach on Thursday. (May 14, 2015) The Annual Friendship Dinner is the TCCSI’s signature annual event, bringing together a wide spectrum of non-profits, business owners, community leaders, academics and professionals on Staten Island. The evening began with a reception featuring an exhibition and demonstration of Ebru Marble Art, the art of creating colorful patterns by sprinkling and brushing color pigments on a pan of oily water and then transforming this pattern to paper. Also Calligraphy demonstration. Guests have their names handwritten in an artistic way.

And before dinner there was a Sufi Whirling Dervish performance.

The award headings and the nominees are as follows: · Friendship Award – Council Member Vincent M. Ignizio, District 51 · Interfaith Dialoge Award – Reverend Dr. Demetrius S. Carolina Sr. from First Central Baptist Church · Community Service Award – Leticia Remauro

We want to thank all of our guests for joining us at the dinner and our sponsors supporting us and our members who volunteered their time and effort to make this evening possible…
