Filled with laughter, joy, music, and food, Turkish Cultural Center Weekend School had its closing program on May 5, 2018. For this year’s graduation, classes were assigned to represent one culture from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Tajikistan. As the final day was approaching, everyone practiced for their performances, a short cultural dance. As the parents enjoyed the different and unique foods from these countries, the stage was filled with colorful costumes and acts. To thank parents for their constant contribution and help, students sang a heartwarming song for their mothers and handed then flowers to celebrate upcoming Mothers Day. To close the ceremony, kids received actual living fish to take home and care for!
