This month’s theme was the necessity of interfaith Dialogue. Our guest speaker was the Executive Director of The Interfaith Center Albany Mrs. Donna Crisafulli. She explained the history and the mission of the Interfaith Center. She also mentioned about the events that Turkish Cultural Center Albany and The Interfaith Center jointly organized in the past.
We as TCC Albany closely collaborate with the Interfaith Center. Recently, we organized a lecture about Muslim’s perspective on Extremism and Terrorism at The University at Albany. TCC Albany organizes Annual Interfaith Ramadan Dinners at the Interfaith Center where people from many different faith communities learn about fasting in Ramadan and enjoys traditional Turkish Food.
